Location

Plantations is located approximately 8 miles /13 km on the Pacific coast north of the small surfing town of Nosara and on the edge of the small fishing hamlet of San Juanillo (see Google earth photo in Gallery section)  Plantations is also located only 30 minutes from Nosara with two scheduled airlines making daily flights, 45 minutes from Santa Cruz, and 90 minutes from the Liberia International airport. Public bus and taxi transporatation is offered from San Juanillo. Adequate sheltered mooring for your boat is also available cost free. 

 NOTE:  Barcelo' Resorts Inc. has contracted for a 5 star 150 room hotel, 50 villas, and a spa center with a shopping mall (Playa Azul). Barcelo is pouring over $237 million US into this project. This resort is projected for a 2011 open date and is  only 1.6 miles/3km from Plantations (see press release  under links).

 Lora Hills http://www.lorahills.com/main.html is a resort in the Ostional foothills 1km from the beach and approx. 3km from Plantations with only ocean view lots of which these are offered up to $1 million US for a just one acre lot. (see under links)
