Bus and taxi service is available from Plantations to nearby banking and markets. In addition, there is a paved landing strip in Nosara 8miles/13km away.  Walk along the nature trails on the property where one can enjoy a wide range of wildlife such as Howler monkees, iguanas, birds, butterflies, or along the beach where Olive/Ridley and giant Leatherback turtles sometimes display themselves.  Year-around world class Sail and Marlin fishing is also available. Even whales from your terrace can be seen throughout different times of the year.
